The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Tuesday, January 27, 2026, as follows:
At the windows of financial institutions, the buying rate was RD$61.90, while the selling rate reached RD$63.85.
These figures reflect a slight appreciation compared to the previous day, when the purchase was at RD$61.94 and the sale at RD$63.87.
Remittance and Exchange Agents reported a buying rate of RD$62.45 and a selling rate of RD$63.40.
In this sector, the currency showed a mixed behavior compared to the end of the year 2025, a period in which the purchase ended at RD$62.87 and the sale at RD$63.74.
