The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the US dollar for this Tuesday, January 20, 2026, as follows:

In the banking sector, the dollar was quoted at a buying rate of RD$62.00 and a selling rate of RD$63.93.

These figures represent a recovery in the value of the Dominican peso compared to three days ago, with an appreciation of 0.38% in buying and 0.17% in selling.

Compared to the close of the year 2025, the national currency has maintained remarkable stability, recording a marginal variation of only -0.02% in buying and -0.10% in selling.

For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents presented slightly different rates, placing the purchase of the greenback at RD$62.35 and the sale at RD$63.48.

In this sector, the strengthening of the peso was even more marked compared to last week, with an appreciation of 0.55% in the buying rate and 0.38% in the selling rate.
