The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Wednesday, September 9, as follows:
Financial Institutions set the average dollar purchase rate at RD$57.18 and the sale rate at RD$59.69.
Compared to the previous day (when the buy rate was trading at RD$57.22 and the sell rate at RD$59.76), adjustments of 0.07% were recorded in the buy rate and 0.12% in the sell rate.
For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported average rates of RD$58.41 for purchase and RD$59.34 for sale.
Regarding the previous day, in this segment, when they were at (purchase of RD$58.41 and sale of RD$59.41), the movement was 0.01% in the purchase and 0.11% in the sale.
The retail foreign exchange market for the US dollar recorded stable quotes today, showing marginal daily variations but accumulating a notable appreciation compared to the 2025 closing and the figures recorded a year ago.
