Washington.- US President, Donald Trump, said this Monday that “illegal immigration is killing Europe” and that the situation in his country when the Democrats “had the borders open” was “much worse” than the massive entry of migrants into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta.

“Illegal immigration must be stopped in Europe. I know Europe better than anyone, better than those who govern it, and I have excellent relationships there. There are two things that are destroying Europe. The first is immigration. The second is energy,” Trump declared to the media in the Oval Office.

“When I saw what happened in Spain, I said to myself that we had a version of that, you could say much worse. We allowed the entry of twenty-five million people under the mandate of Joe Biden and the Democrats. We had open borders, and countries from all over the world sent people to our country that they didn’t want,” he stated.

Trump boasted that the country currently has the “best border” through which “not a single person has entered” in fifteen months, after tightening immigration policies with mass deportations, visa restrictions, and border security.

Trump accuses migrants of committing crimes

The head of state believes that “immigration is an incredible problem for Europe” because it is letting “people in who, in many cases, are not going to contribute anything positive,” a position shared by several members of his Cabinet, including the vice president, JD Vance, and the secretary of state, Marco Rubio.

Likewise, Trump accused -without evidence- “many of them (migrants)” of committing “more than one murder”: “We will end up the same if you put those lunatics I see running for public office in power,” he warned.

The US president said he felt “very sorry” for what is happening in Europe, both with migration and energy.

“There are windmills everywhere. With windmills, you lose your shirt. Any country that bets on windmills is a loser. That’s right, you just have to look: if they have windmills, they are losers, because you lose money with them,” he asserted.
