The communicator and panelist of Alofoke Radio Show, Vincent Carmona, known as Dotol Nastra, revealed details of his participation as the backstage host of the magenta carpet of Premio Lo Nuestro, an experience he defined as one of the most important moments of his career. With evident emotion, Nastra assured the cameras of De Último Minuto that it is a goal he never imagined achieving. “This is one of those things that you never imagined you would be able to achieve in your life, but I think part of that is discipline, consistency with work, and knowing how to make them complement each other,” expressed the also producer, highlighting that he feels prepared to take on the challenge. Nastra explained that he is aware that he will be surrounded by big stars, so his focus will be to contribute and work as a team. “I am surrounded by stars, so one tries not to steal the show… the idea is to make a good team and that everyone who is tuning in enjoys what we are doing.” Nastra also shared unpublished details about the moment when the businessman Santiago Matías contacted him to be part of this opportunity, becoming one of the two Dominicans who accompany him in the backstage conduction of the Premio Lo Nuestro carpet.

The communicator explained that their relationship with Matías transcends friendship and is strengthened professionally, understanding when to intervene and when to give space, a dynamic that, he assures, has been key in the projects they have developed together. That mutual trust was decisive in taking on this new international challenge. Since receiving the news, Nastra revealed that he began intensive preparation that included rehearsals, organization of ideas, voice management practices, and simulations of unexpected interviews, imagining scenarios with unforeseen artists to strengthen his ability to react. “I’ve been preparing for several days, to be honest with you,” he added, convinced that this opportunity represents another level in his professional career and a significant step for the projection of the team in one of the most important events in Latin music.“To be honest… I know how to complement him when I have a microphone in my hand… he knows that he and I together have done many things that have worked very well and when he invited me, I said, I have to prepare myself,” he related.
