The Dominican influencer and communicator Dotol Nastra offered statements to De Último Minuto during the rehearsals of Premio Lo Nuestro, in which he directly addressed his sentimental situation and his vision of marriage. During his intervention, Nastra acknowledged that his character and professional commitments have affected his love life. “I am complicated, I must admit it, I am complicated and the work demands a lot from me,” he expressed, while explaining that he has chosen to entrust his sentimental life to faith. “Day by day I ask God to send her to me, because I want to have a partner,” he affirmed. The communicator also confessed that he finds it funny how his single status affects so many people. “I don’t know why my single status hurts so much,” he stated. However, he clarified that he is not willing to get involved in fleeting and commitment-lacking relationships that do not correspond to his vision of stability.

In that context, he detailed the three qualities he considers essential in a woman to establish a formal relationship. The first is humility. “You can be the most beautiful in the world, have everything you want, but you have to be humble,” he maintained, highlighting that for him personal values prevail over physical appearance. As a second fundamental aspect, she emphasized the importance of love and respect for the family. “I need to see that you are crazy about your dad, your brother, your nephew,” she explained, indicating that this commitment to the family nucleus would be decisive when projecting a life together. Finally, he affirmed that he conceives marriage as an alliance based on cooperation and mutual support, not as a competition. “May there be no competition, may we be a team,” he pointed out. According to what he expressed, he understands the relationship of a couple not only as an emotional bond, but as a strategic partnership in which both work in a complementary way.
