Samaná.-After a workday coordinated and executed by technicians from the Northern Electricity Distribution Company (Edenorte), the installation of a new 37 MVA power transformer at the Samaná Substation was successfully completed.
The incorporation of this equipment, with greater capacity, represents an important step for the strengthening of the province’s electrical infrastructure, allowing for a more efficient response to the growing energy demand of Samaná and its communities.
With this intervention, Edenorte seeks to guarantee greater stability in the electricity supply and contribute to the reduction of service interruptions, especially in areas that depend on the Samaná Substation.
The works are part of the actions to strengthen the electrical grid being carried out in the province, with the aim of improving the quality and reliability of the service for homes, businesses, companies, and other productive sectors.
The installation of the 37 MVA transformer, which replaces the lower-capacity equipment, will allow for greater energy transformation and distribution capacity, thereby strengthening the local electrical system.
