The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the euro for this Friday, September 4, as follows:
In Financial Entities, the average exchange rate for the euro was RD$66.07 for purchase and RD$70.28 for sale.
For their part, Remittance and Exchange Agents reported average counter quotes of RD$67.30 for purchase and RD$69.08 for sale.
The retail exchange market for the euro showed a slight upward trend against the national currency.
However, despite this daily and monthly progress, the European currency has accumulated very significant losses in value compared to the close of the previous year and with respect to the quotes from a year ago.
