Baní, Peravia. – The Expo Mango 2026 fair concluded with results that strengthen its positioning as one of the main agro-commercial events in the Dominican Republic, while also consolidating Baní as the renowned “Mango Capital”.
Held from June 3 to 7, the activity brought together thousands of national and international visitors, contributing to boosting the local economy and promoting the potential of the Dominican mango in foreign markets.
More than a hundred agribusiness, export, and service companies participated in the fair, generating significant business opportunities, strengthening trade tables, and facilitating new investment links for the sector.

During the event, producers reported a significant increase in sales of fresh and processed mango, reflecting the growing demand for this fruit and its competitiveness in both the local and international markets.
One of the main attractions was the Gastronomic Route, along with culinary contests, where chefs and entrepreneurs presented innovative proposals made from mango. Among the products exhibited, jams, flans, cheesecakes, drinks, and various sweet and savory preparations stood out, capturing the attention of the attendees.
