Faceless Provincial Director of Human Rights conducts follow-up visit to the Samaná fortress

Samaná, R.D. – The provincial director of Human Rights Without a Face, José Alberto Grullón de la Cruz, made a follow-up visit to the fortress of the municipality of Samaná, with the aim of ensuring respect for the rights of persons deprived of liberty.

During the day, the provincial director held a meeting with José Soriano, head of the facility, with whom he discussed the current conditions of the inmates and the actions implemented to ensure dignified treatment within the center.

The visit is part of the efforts of Faceless Human Rights to continue monitoring detention centers, as well as strengthen coordination with the relevant authorities.

It is worth noting that José Alberto Grullón de la Cruz has a long history of service to the population of the province of Samaná, which supports his commitment to the defense of human rights.
