Villa Hermosa.–Given the difficult health situation and the precarious conditions in which a family lives in the municipality of Villa Hermosa, the provincial director of Health, Dr. Carmen Jiménez, along with the governor, Licda. Ivelisse Mercedes Méndez, visited the home of a patient diagnosed with brain cancer.

The authorities intervened after observing a report by communicator Manuel De Pérez, which showed the critical reality faced by Mrs. Cecilia Jiménez, who suffers from this serious illness and whose health has been progressively deteriorating, even affecting her vision. During the visit, both officials were able to see firsthand the conditions in which the patient resides, a woman of limited resources who has given birth to several children, mostly minors, which further aggravates the family situation. Visibly moved by the reality they encountered, Dr. Jiménez and Governor Méndez pledged to manage an urgent action plan. They indicated that they will prepare a detailed report that will be sent to the Presidency of the Republic, with the aim of channeling immediate aid in favor of the patient and her children.
