Santo Domingo.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) reported that this Saturday, April 18, the floating bridge over the Ozama River will be temporarily closed to vehicular traffic, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, to allow the passage of a vessel. The institution explained that the measure responds to the arrival of the vessel MV Green Chief, belonging to the dock MYD Marine Repairs S.A., which will be entering repair work during the established period. The floating bridge, which connects the National District with the Villa Duarte sector, in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este, will remain out of service during that interval, so drivers are urged to take precautions.
