Miami.- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was hospitalized this Sunday in Florida in critical but stable condition, according to his spokesperson – in a statement – which did not specify the reasons.
“Mayor Rudy Giuliani is currently in the hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition,” his spokesperson, Ted Goodman, said in a statement.
«Mayor Giuliani is a fighter who has faced every challenge in his life with unwavering strength, and he is fighting with that same level of strength at this very moment. We ask you to join us in prayer for the ‘Mayor of America’», the message added.
Giuliani served as mayor of New York between 1994 and 2001.

In addition, Giuliani was hospitalized last September after a traffic accident that caused a fractured vertebra, which has further limited his appearance at public events.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, reported on his Truth Social platform about the hospitalization of the fellow party member, who in his youth was a Democrat but shifted in 1980 towards the Republican side, before governing in New York.
In his message, Trump criticized that “the lunatics of the radical left” treated him “so badly” and again insisted on the electoral fraud in the 2020 elections that he lost against Joe Biden.
Giuliani served as Trump’s lawyer, after serving as mayor, and was one of the key figures behind the accusations of electoral fraud in 2020.
