From the South to Punta Cana without traffic lights: Wellington Arnaud celebrates the Baní Beltway

Peravia. – The executive director of the National Institute of Potable Water and Sewers (INAPA), Wellington Arnaud, highlighted that the recently inaugurated Baní Ring Road will not only reduce the travel time from Santo Domingo by approximately one hour, but also forms part of an integral development vision that encompasses the entire southern region of the country.

Arnaud explained that this work is added to a series of strategic projects that the Government has been executing, such as the tourism development of Pedernales, the productive transformation of the Enriquillo region, the agricultural modernization in San Juan with the ISA University and the construction of the Azua Ring Road and the overpass of El 9.

“We are going to have, from Barahona to Punta Cana, a journey without traffic lights,” he highlighted.

The official assured that this connectivity will encourage entrepreneurs from the south to return and invest in their provinces, boosting well-being and local economic growth. “Today is a day of great joy for all the Dominican people, because we are seeing how every penny of the people is invested in a planned manner, with transparency and to benefit the people,” he said.
