Santo Domingo Norte.– At least five people were injured this Wednesday morning following a gas tank explosion at a food establishment located in the Los Guaricanos sector.
The incident occurred while the business was in operation, which caused moments of panic among customers, employees, and residents of the area.
The affected individuals suffered burns of varying severity and were attended to by emergency units, who subsequently transported them to a nearby health center to receive specialized medical care.
So far, the authorities have not reported on the severity of the injuries nor have they identified the affected individuals.

Members of the Fire Department and other relief agencies arrived at the scene to control the situation and begin investigations to determine the causes of the explosion.
