Bonao, Monseñor Nouel.- The provincial governor of Monseñor Nouel, Adela Tejada, together with representatives of the Dominican College of Engineers, Architects and Surveyors (CODIA) of Bonao, carried out a technical visit to the land where the future headquarters of the Civil Defense will be built in this municipality.
The plot designated for the construction is located on the service road of the Duarte Highway, near the facilities of the Dominican Red Cross. During the visit, the professionals evaluated the technical conditions of the space with the aim of ensuring the viability and correct execution of the project.
The governor highlighted the importance of the initiative, noting that the construction of a modern headquarters will strengthen the operational and response capacity of the Civil Defense in emergency situations, as well as prevention and risk management efforts in the province.

Tejada also explained that permanent coordination will be maintained with the professionals involved in the project through established communication channels, with the aim of monitoring each stage of the process and addressing any technical requirements that may arise during the planning and development of the work.
The provincial president of the Civil Defense, Juan Carlos Velásquez; representatives of the Provincial Development Council; and members of CODIA also participated in the activity, expressing their willingness to collaborate so that the infrastructure meets the required quality and functionality standards.

The visit is part of the joint efforts between provincial authorities, relief agencies, and technical entities to promote projects that strengthen the security and response capacity of the institutions in charge of protecting the citizenry.
