Grupo SID and MICM exchange vision on a competitive, innovative and sustainable industry

Grupo SID received a visit from the Minister of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs, Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, along with a delegation from the government institution, in a meeting aimed at strengthening the dialogue between the public and private sectors and identifying collaboration opportunities that drive the country’s industrial and economic development.
Ligia Bonetti, Executive President of Grupo SID, accompanied by executives of the conglomerate, presented the official and his companions with a comprehensive vision of the company, its evolution over nearly nine decades, its contribution to the development of the Dominican economy, and the main initiatives driving its growth, innovation, sustainability, and expansion into new markets.
During the meeting, perspectives were exchanged on the main challenges and opportunities of the national productive sector, addressing issues related to competitiveness, investment attraction, the strengthening of value chains, innovation, and the need to continue promoting an environment that favors the sustainable growth of the Dominican industry

These spaces for dialogue strengthen trust, promote collaboration, and allow us to continue driving initiatives that contribute to a more competitive, innovative, and sustainable industry, generating value for Dominican society,” stated Ligia Bonetti, Executive President of Grupo SID.
The meeting reaffirmed Grupo SID’s commitment to continue promoting initiatives that strengthen collaboration with the country’s institutions, convinced that the articulation between the public and private sectors is essential to promote competitiveness, strengthen the national productive apparatus, and contribute to the sustainable development of the Dominican Republic.
Also participating on behalf of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) were Gianna Franjul, Vice Minister, and Johanna Bonnelly, Advisor.
With meetings like this, Grupo SID continues to consolidate its role as a strategic ally for the development of the Dominican Republic, promoting alliances that strengthen competitiveness, drive innovation, and generate value for the country.
