Santo Domingo.- The Doctora Evangelina Rodríguez Maternal Hospital (HMDER) celebrated the graduation of 15 new specialists in the areas of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Neonatology, as part of its forty-fifth (XLV) class of specialists and the forty-first (XLI) class of subspecialists in Neonatal Intensive Care.

The new professionals, now certified as gynecologists, obstetricians, and perinatologists, have successfully completed their academic training and are prepared to offer high-quality specialized care to mothers and newborns throughout the country.

The event was led by the Teaching manager, Dr. Martín Castillo, who congratulated the graduates and urged them to carry out their work with ethics, a vocation for service, and human commitment.

Doctor Marcelino Figuereo, director of the center, highlighted the relevance of these medical specialties and the fundamental role they play in strengthening the Dominican health system.

Also participating in the activity were Dr. Luis Peña Núñez, president of the Dominican Medical Association (CMD); Dr. Agustín Díaz, coordinator of the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency; Dr. Joselyn Acosta, coordinator of the Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive Care residency; Dr. Jorge Vargas, professor of the Obstetrics and Gynecology residency; as well as Dr. Rudy Guerrero, former director of the center.
