Santo Domingo.– The renowned gynecologist and obstetrician José Plácido Montero passed away this Saturday, leaving an important legacy in the field of health and in the training of medical professionals in the Dominican Republic.
The information was released by the Corazones Unidos Clinic, an institution in which the specialist played a fundamental role by promoting the creation of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, contributing to the strengthening of services aimed at maternal health.
Through a message of condolence, the medical center highlighted that Dr. Montero dedicated a large part of his life to the practice of medicine with a deep commitment to his patients, in addition to becoming a mentor to numerous generations of specialists.
