Santo Domingo.- Judge Rigoberto Sena, of the Judicial Office of Permanent Attention Services, imposed house arrest as a coercive measure on the defendants in the alleged bribery network that affected several state institutions, called by the Public Ministry as Operation Lobo.
Within the ten defendants, five agreed with the prosecuting body and admitted their participation in the events, while those who did not agree were combined with the coercive measure with a ban on leaving.
The Public Ministry’s investigation, originating from a complaint by the General Directorate of Ethics and Governmental Integrity, details a criminal scheme allegedly headed by public officials and entrepreneurs who used the company Servicios Nacional de Seguridad Integral SRL (Senase) as a platform to channel bribes.
