“With this provision, President Abinader promotes that INAIPI can advance in the construction, through the Ministry of Education, of a new center for the care of early childhood,” said the official.

Likewise, Castillo Rodríguez reported that he will request President Abinader to allocate a portion of the land for the construction of a Disability Care Center in Boca Chica, which would have adequate equipment and specialized personnel to provide comprehensive care to children with special needs.

“A center of this nature is greatly needed in Boca Chica. We have children with autism and other conditions that require early intervention, as well as guidance and support for families so they know how to work with these infants at a crucial stage of their development,” underlined Castillo Rodríguez.

The director of INAIPI signed the agreement to take possession of the land, which includes the title certification and the plans prepared by the General Directorate of National Cadastre, along with Bienvenido de Óleo Moreta, director of Preservation and Recovery of Assets of National Assets (BN), of the State Sugar Council (CEA) and of the Dominican Corporation of State Enterprises (CORDE). The lands correspond to plots Nos. 479-C-612 and 489-E-22, of the Cadastral District No. 32 of Andrés, Boca Chica. The documentation was also signed by the technical director of National Assets, Gilberto Grullón.
