During the presentation, the main components of Multimedios Boca Chica and the new stage of Boca Chica TV were explained.
The project will maintain its link with the municipality, but its strategy contemplates producing and distributing content aimed also at viewers in other parts of the country and at Dominicans living abroad.
The platform will incorporate information, entertainment, culture, community stories, and spaces to promote talent, as well as productions aimed at different media and digital channels.
Its managers indicated that one of the objectives is to develop a structure that can compete within the Dominican television and audiovisual market.

Boca Chica TV will have two studios
The relaunch includes changes to the image, programming, and production capacity.
The new structure will have two television studios, including a space dedicated to the production of podcasts and other audiovisual formats.
Those responsible for the project intend to use this infrastructure to expand the quantity and variety of programs produced from the municipality.
They also seek to create opportunities for journalists, communicators, producers, artists, entrepreneurs, and people interested in developing new projects within the audiovisual industry.
Studio will be named after Formerio Rodríguez
During the meeting, it was announced that the main studio of Boca Chica TV will be named “Formerio Rodríguez”, in recognition of the channel’s first director.
The decision seeks to maintain within the new structure a reference to the origins and trajectory of the television developed in the municipality.
The event also brought together journalists and producers from different generations who have participated in the development of local media.
Representatives from different sectors attended the launch
The activity began around 6:35 in the evening and was organized in a cocktail format.
Among the guests were business representatives, media figures, officials, artists, and personalities linked to sports. Former Major League player Pablo Ozuna also participated.
The meeting served to present the business structure and the production plans that will accompany this new phase of the channel.
With the initiative through which they are relaunching Boca Chica TV and launching Multimedios Boca Chica, those responsible seek to expand the reach of a platform born in the municipality and develop productions aimed at both the Dominican market and international audiences.
