Barahona.- Dr. Jenny Olivero assumes the directorship of the Jaime Mota Hospital after being appointed and sworn in by the executive director of the National Health Service (SNS), Dr. Julio Landrón, as part of the administrative strengthening process that the institution is carrying out in the Public Network.
Olivero arrives at the management of the Dr. Jaime Mota Regional Hospital with previous experience in the administration of healthcare facilities and in different areas of the hospital center itself.
The new director is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) and has an academic background linked to health services management.
He/she holds master’s degrees in Senior Management, Health Management, Public Health, and Epidemiology. Additionally, he/she has completed diploma programs in Hospital Management, Public Administration, Medical Auditing, and Supervision.
More than ten years of experience in the healthcare sector
Olivero has more than a decade of experience in the healthcare system and has held various positions of responsibility in establishments in the Enriquillo region.

Before assuming his new duties, he was in charge of the Vicente Noble Municipal Hospital.
She also knows the structure of the Dr. Jaime Mota Regional Hospital, where she previously served as deputy general director, in charge of the Surgical Block and in charge of Medical Audit.

Will focus management on processes and services
Upon assuming the position, Olivero expressed his intention to continue strengthening institutional administration and to work on the optimization of internal processes.

Among its objectives is also to raise the quality of the services offered to patients who come to the center, one of the main health establishments in the Enriquillo region.
The executive director of the SNS explained that the new appointments are taking place while surveys are being conducted to determine the existing needs in different public hospitals.
Those evaluations will serve to determine the measures required in each establishment, improve the use of resources, and respond to the needs of the users.
With the provision through which Jenny Olivero assumes the direction of the Jaime Mota Hospital, the SNS seeks to continue strengthening the management of this center and the services it offers to the population.
