Leonardo Aguilera at the start of the Banreservas Real Estate Fair: “Our goal is for every Dominican to have their own roof”

New York. – With a warm welcome cocktail, the President of Banreservas, Leonardo Aguilera, inaugurated the Third Banreservas Real Estate Fair in New York, aimed at the Dominican diaspora interested in acquiring housing in the Dominican Republic. During his intervention, Aguilera highlighted that the dream of every Dominican is to have their own home and that the fair seeks to make that objective a reality through financing and specialized advice. “This activity reflects the interest of the President of the Republic Luis Abinader and the Banco de Reservas in supporting our compatriots so they can fulfill the dream of having their own home,” he emphasized. The fair brings together promoters, builders, and representatives from the banking sector, solidifying a bridge between the Dominican diaspora and their country.
“We are here for you and we will continue to extend our hand to every Dominican, because we are invincible,” concluded Aguilera.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th of this month, on the 12th floor of the Radio Hotel, located at 500 W 181st Street, corner of Amsterdam Avenue, in Upper Manhattan, starting at 10:00 a.m. Also, it will continue on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd in Lawrence, Massachusetts, at the Parthum School Complex, at the same time. During the activities, Banreservas will offer attractive financing conditions, with loans of up to 90% of the value of the property and terms of up to 20 years, which will allow many compatriots to realize the dream of owning a home in their country. More than 6,000 housing units will be presented, including apartments, houses, villas and plots, with the participation of more than 30 developers and real estate companies, who will provide personalized advice to those interested. The welcome cocktail was attended by the Dominican consul in New York, Jesús (Chu) Vásquez, and the former United States ambassador to the Dominican Republic, James “Wally” Brewster.

The president of Banreservas announced during his speech that the event will continue in May in Madrid, Spain, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to Dominicans residing abroad. Aguilera emphasized that Banreservas will accompany the participants throughout the process, offering financial support and guidance for the acquisition of housing.
