Los Alcarrizos.– Los Alcarrizos municipality celebrates the realization of its first Softball Classic, a sporting event that brings together 11 teams from different sectors, promoting community integration and local talent.
The tournament is organized by the councilman Ángel Medina, who highlighted the importance of promoting sports initiatives that encourage healthy competition and recreation in the community.
The matches will be taking place simultaneously in three plays of the municipality, involving dozens of athletes and softball fans.
The Clásico has a prize pool of more than RD$200 thousand in prizes, which guarantees a high competitive level among the participating teams.

The sporting activity is supported by Mayor Junior Santos, the Ministry of Sports of the Dominican Republic, Ing. Kelvin Antonio Cruz Cáceres, congresswoman Rafaela González, as well as businessmen from the area, who have joined efforts for the success of the event.
This first Softball Classic marks an important step in strengthening the sport in Los Alcarrizos, consolidating itself as a platform for social integration and community development.
