The groundbreaking ceremony was led by the mayor of the municipality, Dr. Eberto Núñez, who gave the symbolic first pick and made the official delivery of a check for RD$300,000, equivalent to 20% of the total value of the work, as an initial advance.
The activity saw the active participation of the neighborhood councils of the sector, as well as the president of the Council of Aldermen, Freddy Amadís, and several aldermen of the municipality, who supported the initiative as part of the commitment to social investment and community development.

This project is part of a broader investment plan, driven by the Bonao City Council, which includes the execution of works for more than RD$48 million, distributed among more than 40 communities in the municipality. For this current year, the council plans to invest RD$16 million in works prioritized by the citizens.
The intervention in the Los Robles neighborhood directly responds to the demands of the community and strengthens the mayor’s commitment to citizen participation, transparency, and the improvement of the quality of life of the municipal residents.
