Man arrested in the act of attempted robbery at a store in La Altagracia

La Alatagracia. – Foot patrol agents of the New Police Model apprehended a man in the act of attempting to steal merchandise from a store located in this province, reported the Regional Directorate La Altagracia of the National Police. According to the official report, the individual was caught attempting to leave the commercial establishment with three pairs of jeans without having made the corresponding payment. The rapid intervention of the agents prevented the criminal act from being completed.

The detainee was transferred to the corresponding police detachment and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for legal purposes, in accordance with the procedures established by law.
