San Francisco de Macoris.- A woman of Haitian nationality reported having been the victim of a physical assault allegedly committed by her ex-partner, in an incident that occurred in the Rabo de Chivo sector of this municipality.
The victim, identified only as Tania, presented visible injuries to her face, including swelling and a hematoma on her right eye, after receiving, according to her testimony, a strong blow during an argument.
According to her account, the conflict began due to a disagreement related to clothing and alleged jealousy. The woman explained that the situation originated after she took a pair of pants to head to her workplace, which reportedly triggered the aggressor’s violent reaction.

During the statements given to the media, there was initial confusion regarding the identity of the person responsible due to communication difficulties caused by the language barrier. However, Tania later clarified that it was a man.
People present at the scene indicated that the alleged aggressor is also of Haitian nationality. So far, no details have been provided regarding possible legal actions against the individual.
