Woman suffers serious facial injuries with a razor blade by another in Jarabacoa

By: SALVADOR GARCÍA @ennoticiasconsalvadorj Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic. – A young woman identified as Midelina Batista Jiménez, 28 years old, known as “La China”, sustained significant injuries after an incident that occurred in the La Yautía sector of this municipality. According to preliminary information, the incident would have originated after a collision between motorcycles, which caused the young woman to skid. Subsequently, a confrontation occurred with another couple involved in the situation. According to reports, Batista Jiménez was physically assaulted by a man whose identity is still unknown and, in addition, suffered a deep wound to the face allegedly caused by a woman known as “La Mega.”

Following the incident, those involved fled, leaving the young woman in a delicate state. Thanks to the rapid intervention of community members, she was taken to a private health center in Jarabacoa, from where she was referred to a medical center in La Vega due to the severity of her injuries. Hours later, National Police agents reported the location and arrest of the alleged aggressor in the Palo Blanco sector, who is in custody to be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office. Meanwhile, the man linked to the case remains at large, while the authorities continue investigations to clarify what happened.
