Santiago. A man lost his life after being stabbed during an incident that occurred in the La Delgada community, in the Villa González municipality, in the Santiago province, authorities reported this Monday.
The victim was identified as José Luis Ramos, 34, who died due to a stab wound sustained under circumstances that have yet to be clarified.
The spokesperson for the National Police in Santiago, Fiordaliza Popa Arias, reported that agents of the institution are keeping an investigation open to determine how the events occurred and to identify the person responsible for the assault.
The authorities indicated that they are carrying out the corresponding proceedings, including the collection of evidence and interviews with potential witnesses, with the aim of clarifying the case and proceeding in accordance with the law.
The National Police stated that they will provide further details as the investigative process progresses.
