The first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, with Robert Downey Jr. playing Doctor Doom, will, according to the latest leaks, be one minute long.
New leaks suggest that we will see this advance during the month of December. As planned, Marvel plans to share a preview of the next film by the Russo brothers along with the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash. However, a complete trailer will not be shown, but a kind of preview focused on Doctor Doom by Robert Downey Jr.
After the confirmation of the new Avengers team of Captain America (Sam Wilson) and the rest of the members of Marvel’s ambitious production, the insider Cryptic4KQual has indicated that we will be able to see a minute of Avengers: Doomsday: 60 seconds that will serve to present the great event of the Russos that will close the Multiverse Saga, after a series of chaotic and somewhat disjointed projects.
According to the user, endorsed by The Direct, a media outlet specializing in information about Marvel, DC, and blockbusters:“Confirmed the trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ for ‘Avatar’ [will be on December 19th]. I’ve been told it lasts just over a minute, so it’s just a preview and not a full trailer. I can’t wait!”
The first preview will show Doctor Doom’s shattered body, confirming that the villain will have to use his powerful armor to survive and cover his wounds. The Russo brothers seek to portray the antagonist of the Multiverse Saga as a kind of classic monster, inspired by The Phantom of the Opera. This somewhat explains why the character wants to have contact with Reed and Sue’s son at the end of Fantastic Four: First Steps, to heal his scars.
With everything prepared, Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters in December 2026.
