The Good Practices in Social Security Award was created by DIDA with the purpose of recognizing excellence in health management within the Dominican Social Security System (SDSS), distinguishing health service providers (PSS), health risk administrators (ARS), and institutions that develop innovative, efficient, humane, and resilient models.

During the awards ceremony, the Director General of DIDA, Elías Báez, highlighted that these recognitions constitute a tool to promote continuous improvement, strengthen the protection of affiliates, and foster a culture of excellence throughout the social security system.

The awards were granted after a rigorous technical evaluation process carried out by DIDA specialists and a jury composed of renowned figures in the field of social security and the health sector, ensuring criteria of objectivity, transparency, and technical rigor.

Since its opening, Médico Express has impacted the lives of more than 150,000 people through a comprehensive outpatient model that combines advanced technology, artificial intelligence, international quality standards, and care focused on the needs of patients and their families.
