Washington.- United States First Lady Melania Trump presided this Tuesday over the awards ceremony for fifteen students from various schools and high schools across the country for their talent in the use of artificial intelligence (AI).

More than 20,000 elementary and high school students from all 50 states, as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, participated in the first edition of the Presidential AI Challenge.

The first lady stressed that AI provides society with access to the greatest amount of information ever recorded, which is why she considered the democratization of this technology to be fundamental.

Since her return to the White House in January 2025, Melania Trump has focused her efforts on promoting initiatives aimed at empowering children through education and technology.

Last March, she drew attention by participating in a summit with other first ladies at the White House, where she appeared accompanied by a humanoid robot as a symbol of the role that technology can play in the future of education.
