Santo Domingo. The Ministry of Labor has called a meeting for this Monday between the National Association of Private Clinics (Andeclip), the Health Risk Administrators (ARS) Futuro and Primera, as well as representatives of the National Social Security Council (CNSS), with the purpose of finding a solution to the conflict that threatens to affect the provision of medical services.
The call comes one day before the date announced by Andeclip to suspend, indefinitely, the care for affiliates of both insurers due to disagreements between the parties.
ARS Futuro technical advisor, Luis Giacometti, reported that the meeting aims to open a space for dialogue that allows for bridging positions and reaching an agreement that avoids the implementation of the measure.

If an understanding is reached between the parties, the interruption of services at private clinics affiliated with Andeclip could be avoided, a decision that would impact thousands of users of both ARS.
