In the Lima qualifier, which will be held from July 17 to 21 at the Andrés Avelino Cáceres Sports Complex, in the town of Villa María del Triunfo, in the Peruvian city of Lima, the pentathletes will be seeking a second and third place for the Lima Pan Am Games.
The first place was obtained in the qualifier in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in November of last year, 2025.

Previously, the Dominican athletes will participate in a pre-camp, with a focus on the obstacle discipline to compete in better conditions, which will be held from this Wednesday the 8th until the 15th of this month, at the Punta Rocas Sports Complex, in Punta Negra.
The information was provided by the young sports leader Kenny Núñez Veras, president of the Dominican Modern Pentathlon Federation (Fedopem).
Núñez Veras said that the Dominican delegation is made up of athletes Gabriel Domínguez, José Ozoria, Yeraldo Devora, Ana Leidys Arias, Karina Fermín, Adriana Camacho, and Naomi Madé, accompanied by the Mexican coach Tonatiuth Hernández.

The president of Modern Pentathlon stated that the Dominican national team has one male and one female pentathlete qualified for Lima 2027, highlighting the good condition of their athletes in the final phase of their preparation for the Santo Domingo 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games.
Núñez Veras will join the Dominican team on the 16th as a delegate, returning to the country with the national team on the 21st, for their final rehearsal before the 2026 CAC Games.
