Santo Domingo.- Through a video sent to the newsroom of De Último Minuto, a mother reported the death of her baby, which occurred while the child was under the care of a daycare center located in San Isidro, Santo Domingo East, and requested that the authorities conduct an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the case.

In tears, Taylor Dairen Reynoso’s mother recounted that she left the minor at the daycare center located in the Los Maestros sector around 6:30 a.m. last Thursday and asserted that the child was in good health at the time she dropped him off.

He explained that around 11:44 in the morning he received a call in which he was informed that the baby was unwell because “phlegm had come up”.

He stated that, when he arrived at the Ramón De Lara Teaching Hospital, located at the San Isidro Air Base, where the minor had been taken, he had already passed away from asphyxiation.

She maintained that the child’s body had a blow to the head, so she requested that the true cause of death be determined. “I need to know what happened to my baby,” she expressed indignantly.

The complainant also stated that the daycare owners promised to provide the security camera footage to show what happened that day, but she claimed that they subsequently stopped cooperating and have not handed over the videos.

The mother called on the authorities to investigate the case and urged the public to share her report in the hope of obtaining answers and ensuring justice for the death of her son.
