Santo Domingo Este.– The daycare Casilda’s Daycare, located in the San Isidro sector, stated that it is maintaining collaboration with the authorities investigating the death of four-month-old baby Taylor Dairen Reynoso, which occurred at its facilities.
Through a statement published on its social media channels, the center stated that it is committed to clarifying the facts and reiterated that it has made all required information available to investigators. Likewise, it rejected the reports and accusations that, it claims, have circulated on social media regarding the case, labeling them as false and asserting that their dissemination has generated confusion and social pressure amidst the sensitivity caused by the minor’s passing.
As part of their position, they explained that the facilities have a video surveillance system with audio and video recording, the records of which, they indicated, could contribute to determining what happened on the day of the incident. The center’s management also maintained that they would never refuse to cooperate with the justice system or hide information that could be useful for the development of the investigations.

The statement was released after the infant’s mother reported that she had dropped off Taylor Dairen Reynoso at the daycare around 6:30 a.m. last Thursday, July 2, asserting that the baby was in good health. According to her account, around 11:44 a.m. she received a call informing her that the child was experiencing complications because “phlegm had risen.” Upon arriving at the Ramón de Lara Teaching Hospital, at the San Isidro Air Base, the minor had already passed away.

The mother also stated that the baby’s body had a blow to the head and reported that, although they promised to provide her with the security camera footage to find out what happened, it has not yet been handed over to her.
