National District.- The General Directorate of National Assets raised RD 57,305,000 during the second public auction of the current year, in which 123 cases and 61 lots of transferable vehicles, vehicle bodies, furniture, motorcycles for parts and pieces, as well as scrap metal were offered.
The activity was held in the auditorium of the Higher Police Education Institute (IPES), with the participation of dozens of bidders.
The head of the Auctions Department, Nelson Gómez, reported that the cases and lots offered were unloaded from different public institutions and are available in the warehouses of the General Directorate of National Assets, located on the Mella highway and at Merca Santo Domingo.
He explained that, in order to participate in the auction, interested parties made a payment of RD 2,000.00 at the Collections Department as an admission fee and formalized their registration at the National Assets Auction Department, located at Fray Cipriano de Utrera Street No. 1, Centro de los Héroes (La Feria).

Likewise, he recalled that the awardees will have five business days, counted from the date of the auction, to make the full payment for the items or lots acquired by means of a certified check in the name of the National Treasury.
