Santo Domingo.– The General Directorate of National Assets will hold its second public auction of the year next Friday, July 31, in which 123 cases and 61 lots of transferable vehicles, vehicle bodies, furniture, motorcycles for parts and components, as well as scrap metal will be offered.
The activity will take place at 9:00 in the morning in the auditorium of the Higher Police Education Institute (IPES).
The head of the Auction Department, Nelson Gómez, reported that the cases and lots will be available for inspection at the National Assets warehouses located on Mella Highway and at Merca Santo Domingo.
He explained that, to participate in the auction, interested parties must make a payment of RD 2,000.00 for the admission fee at the Collections Department and formalize their registration at the National Assets Auction Department, located at Fray Cipriano de Utrera St. No. 1, Centro de los Héroes (La Feria), until July 29.

Likewise, he recalled that the awardees will have five business days, counted from the date of the auction, to make the full payment for the cases or lots acquired by certified check in the name of the national treasury, and an additional five business days to remove the goods from the corresponding warehouses.
The auction will be presided over by the General Director of National Assets and honorary executive director of the State Sugar Council (CEA), Dr. Rafael Burgos Gómez.
The process will be carried out through a public auction and will feature the participation of a public auctioneer, representatives of the Commission for the Sale of National Assets, a notary public, and other competent authorities, which will guarantee transparency, legality, and strict compliance with the regulations governing public auctions and the institutional processes carried out by the entity.
