National Police and Digesett investigate incident in which journalist Joaquín Caraballo Martínez died

The deceased was traveling aboard a motorcycle on the Luperón avenue overpass

Santo Domingo.- The National Police reported that in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and Ground Transportation Safety (Digesett) opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances in which journalist Joaquín Caraballo Martínez, 45 years old, died as a result of blows received after suffering a fall while riding the TVS Racing motorcycle, black, license plate K0843599, on the elevated highway of Luperón Avenue, National District.

The institution specified that, along with Digesett, the corresponding surveys and investigations are being carried out in the vicinity of the aforementioned place and Independencia Avenue, to clearly and precisely establish how the tragic event occurred. The National Police indicated that it will provide further details in due course as the investigations progress.
