La Vega, D.R.– Brailyn Bianel Amonte Laureano, 19, was arrested after being detained by members of the National Police while attempting to carry out a transaction with a fake check at a bank in this city.
According to the police report, the detainee appeared at a bank branch with a check for the sum of RD$22,280.00, and irregularities were detected in said document, for which he was detained and subsequently handed over to the acting authorities.
