La Vega.– Jerson José de la Cruz del Villar, alias “Jeison Javier Cruz”, 36, was arrested. He was actively sought by members of the Regional Sub-directorate of Investigations (DICRIM) via a judicial warrant for his alleged connection to a case of physical assault and violation of a minor’s rights.
The arrest occurred after investigative agents received a call reporting that the accused was receiving medical attention at the Professor Juan Bosch Surgical Hospital in this city, after being involved in a conflict that occurred previously. Immediately, the acting members moved to the health center, where they executed the arrest warrant that had been issued against him.

According to the police report, the incident that originated the judicial process occurred on December 10, 2025, and for this case, he was wanted under arrest warrant No. 2025-AJ0083031, for alleged violation of article 309 of the Dominican Penal Code and several articles of Law 136-03 on the Protection of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, related to physical assault and violation of the rights of a minor.
The detainee will be brought to justice.
