Moca, Espaillat province.– The National Police arrested a man in the municipality of Gaspar Hernández accused of the crime of assault and battery, who was wanted by the justice system through an arrest warrant issued by the competent authorities.
This is Alejandro García Sánchez, 40 years old, residing in the Las Colinas sector of that municipality, whose arrest was carried out by agents of the Investigation Division (Dicrim), along with preventive units, on the main street of the Libertad sector, where order No. 598-1-2025-SAUT-00992 was notified to him.
The court order establishes that García Sánchez would have incurred a violation of articles 305 and 309 of the Dominican Penal Code, which typify the crime of assault and battery to the detriment of another citizen of the same demarcation.

The detainee remains in police custody and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for the corresponding legal purposes.
