National Police makes changes in regional directions of La Romana, La Altagracia and San Pedro de Macorís

Santo Domingo, DR. – The National Police has arranged more than 30 changes and new appointments in different dependencies nationwide, as part of an institutional restructuring process aimed at strengthening citizen security and optimizing operational management. Within these movements, the institution made important appointments in the Eastern Region of the country, which include the provinces of La Romana, La Altagracia, and San Pedro de Macorís. In La Romana, General Claudio González Moquete assumed the Eastern Regional Directorate, replacing General Wandy Made Montilla, who held those functions. While in La Altagracia, General Jorge Luis Galán Guerrero was appointed as the new regional director, replacing Colonel Ramón Diclo Mateo.

Meanwhile, in San Pedro de Macorís, General Frank de los Santos Encarnación was appointed as director of the Southeast Regional, replacing General Ramón Ramírez Encarnación. According to official information, these designations are part of an institutional strategy aimed at strengthening the operational structure of the National Police, improving the response capacity to security challenges, and reinforcing the police presence in different areas of the country. The institution indicated that with these changes it seeks to continue advancing in the modernization plans and in the improvement of police services, for the benefit of the citizenry and the strengthening of public security throughout the national territory.
