Native players from Los Alcarrizos return to Play Lile and star in a match “where it all began”
Los Alcarrizos. — The historic Play Lile, located in the Los Americanos sector, was the scene this Sunday of an emotional encounter starring outstanding native baseball players from the municipality, who returned to the field where they began their sports training to share with young athletes and personalities.
The activity was attended by Agustín Ramírez, Major League player, accompanied by minor league prospects Wardquelin Vázquez, Joan Ogando and Edward Florentino, as well as manager Samuel Araujo, who were enthusiastically received by dozens of families, coaches and sports leaders in the area.
During the day, the players offered words of motivation to the new talents who are developing in that emblematic sports space.
Wardquelin Vázquez urged young people not to lose faith in their process and to trust in daily effort:
“Never stop. God’s timing is perfect and everyone will have their moment.”
From his side, manager Samuel Araujo highlighted the importance of maintaining discipline on and off the field:
“Hard work, discipline, and studying the game every day. That is the way.”
The meeting, which combined sports demonstrations, conversations with the children, and moments of closeness with the community, highlighted the commitment of these athletes to their municipality. Their return to Play Lile reaffirms the impact that Los Alcarrizos continues to have on the training of talent and the construction of stories of overcoming.
