Actress Nina Shipman, known for her role in the series ‘The Munsters’, passed away from natural causes at a hospital in Gardena, California. She was 88 years old.
Her stepdaughter, Lianne Bremer, announced the actress’s passing to The Hollywood Reporter.
Born in Los Angeles on August 15, 1938, Nina Shipman inherited her love for entertainment from her parents: Barry Shipman, a screenwriter for westerns who also wrote for the Dick Tracy films in the 1930s, and Gwynne Shipman, a dancer and actress.
Also his paternal grandparents: Nell Shipman was a silent film actress and Ernest Shipman was a member of one of the first traveling Shakespeare companies in the United States.
In cinema, Nina Shipman debuted in “Vertigo“ (1958), where she played a very brief and uncredited role. Then, in 1959, she starred alongside Fred MacMurray in the Western film “The Oregon Trail”.
