OGTIC and INTRANT enable helpline for traffic accident victims

Santo Domingo.– With the aim of providing a direct channel to citizens affected by traffic incidents, the Government Office of Information and Communication Technologies (OGTIC) and the National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (INTRANT) announced the activation of a telephone assistance service, available through the Citizen Attention Contact Center *462. Through this service, citizens will receive guidance and specialized assistance on procedures related to road accidents, attended by a team of trained operators, who will work in extended shifts: from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and on weekends and holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Likewise, cases requiring psychological support will be channeled directly to the Mental Health Center, through the line 809-200-1400, thus guaranteeing comprehensive, close, and effective care. With this new unit, the Dominican State reaffirms its commitment to serve with dignity people in vulnerable situations, promoting a culture of citizen assistance based on respect, empathy, and efficiency.
