United States.- After four months of a series of hearings, Judge Marlene Fernández has ruled in favor of Paulina Rubio in the legal battle against her ex-husband, Nicolás Vallejo-Nájera, “Colate,” and now, Andrea Nicolás, the son they share, will return with his mother to reside in Miami, USA.
After the former couple faced each other in Miami Family Court during three long hearings that took place throughout the month of April, the legal representative for “the Golden Girl,” attorney Sandra Hoyos, confirms that it was her client who won the case.
“Today I close this chapter with deep gratitude and with the peace of mind of having firmly defended what we considered just.”
During the hearings, the lawyers for both parties, Sandra Hoyos in Paulina’s case and Aliette Carolan regarding “Colate,” presented the evidence and reasons why their clients alleged that the other party was, apparently, not fit for 15-year-old Andrea Nicolás to live with.
The interpreter of “El último adiós” requested that the teenager return with her to Miami, because, allegedly, his father did not impose any restrictions on him, a situation that was affecting the upbringing of Andrea Nicolás.

For his part, the Spanish businessman wanted his only son to settle in Madrid, arguing that the minor had a fractured relationship with his mother, and now that he had more stable financial solvency, he could provide him with a good lifestyle in his native Spain.
While the judge in charge of the case, Marlene Fernández, determined what was best for the minor, Andrea Nicolás lived under the care of his guardian, Amber Glasper, but now, he will be able to return to live with his mother, the singer of “Ni una sola palabra”.
