Santo Domingo.- Dominican singer-songwriter Pavel Núñez is preparing to reunite with his audience on July 31st, with the return of his show “Pavel Núñez and his Bipolarband,” a performance that promises to journey through the artist’s different musical facets and take attendees from nostalgia and romanticism to the rhythm of tropical music.
The presentation, scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at Hard Rock Café Santo Domingo in Blue Mall, will feature the participation of special guests such as Maridalia Hernández, José Alberto “El Canario,” and Ariel Núñez, the singer-songwriter’s son, in addition to other surprises that the artist has reserved for that night.
“Bipolarband” is defined by Pavel as a hybrid and unconventional proposal, in which his most sentimental songs coexist with a selection of danceable rhythms. The concept seeks for the audience to be able to transition between different emotions and, as the artist himself explains, “dance and cry in the same place”.
“It is a band that ranges from danceable to sentimental. I believe it is a hybrid that does not exist right now, it is one of a kind,” expressed Núñez when speaking about the essence of this show.

The night will also have a special meaning for the artist, who considers the participation of his son Ariel as a Father’s Day gift. Added to this is the presence of Maridalia Hernández, whom Pavel describes as a godmother and a figure who has given him great moments through music.
Meanwhile, José Alberto “El Canario” will bring his essence within tropical music to the stage, although Pavel hinted that the audience could enjoy an additional surprise, including a possible foray by the renowned salsa singer into other musical genres.
The proposal will be under the artistic direction of Concepto Atariva SDQ, led by producer Fiora Cruz, and will revisit a concept that in its first installment achieved a positive response from the public and specialized critics, even being nominated in the “Concert of the Year” category at the last Soberano Awards.
Pavel Núñez, who comes from consolidating an outstanding year after winning the Solo Singer statuette at the Soberano Awards, invites Dominican families to experience a different night and celebrate fathers with music.
“This coming July 31st, we are going to throw a huge party for all Dominican fathers,” expressed the singer-songwriter, who urged people to set aside the traditional gifts of socks and handkerchiefs for a moment to take dad to a musical gathering where salsa, merengue, bolero, and ballads that are part of the emotional memory of several generations of Dominicans will be present.
