PN separately arrests in Salcedo two men wanted by justice for domestic violence and high-tech crimes
Moca. – Agents of the National Police, attached to the Espaillat Regional Directorate, arrested in the municipality of Salcedo, Hermanas Mirabal province, two men who were required by the justice system, in compliance with judicial orders for domestic violence and high-tech crimes and offenses.
One of the detainees is Juan Bautista Rodríguez Fernández, of legal age and residing in Salcedo, who was arrested by members of the Specialized Division for Women’s and Intrafamily Violence Attention (DEAMVI), on Francisca R. Mollins street, near the Vega Real Cooperative.
The arrest was made in compliance with court order No. RAJ-2025-00730, dated 20-12-2025, for alleged violation of articles 309-1 and 309-2 of the Dominican Penal Code, as amended by Law 24-97, which typify domestic violence, to the detriment of his concubine.
In a second case, Jean Carlos de la Cruz de la Cruz, of legal age and residing in the same municipality, was arrested by court order No. RAJ-2025-00727, dated 12-17-2025, for alleged violation of articles 209, 309 and 311 of the Penal Code, related to high-tech crimes and offenses, to the detriment of two citizens of the municipality of Salcedo.
Both detainees are in police custody and will be placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, for the corresponding legal purposes.
